RAGDOLL CHARACTERISTICS

Ragdoll Cats are Intelligent, Affectionate, Calm, Quiet, very alert and love to play.

Ragdolls have  a medium long fur that normally doesn't mat and shedding is minimal.  The kittens are born white and only have blue eyes.  They do not reach full body color and weight until they are 2 to 3 years old.  Neutered males can weigh 15 to 20 pounds and spayed females weigh about 5 pounds less.

Ragdolls love for you to hold, hug, and handle them alot.

Ragdolls are very loyal and like to be with their owners and share in whatever you are doing.

Ragdolls are very smart and some can be taught to fetch, shake hands, roll over, and sit up and beg.

Ragdolls, once they are comfortable with you, can relax completely and go limp in your arms if they wish.

Ragdoll voices are very quiet with soft meows.

Ragdolls must be kept indoors, because they do not inherently have fighting instincts.

Ragdolls are patient with other cats, dogs, and children and love to make themselves quite at home.
